How does Bronte use aspects of form and structure in her novel? We discuss autobiographical form – autobiographical intent and the role of the unreliable narrator. We also look at the bildungsroman form and the narrative use of theatrical convention and performativity. With regards the structure we discuss the five settings and the importance of the ending.
