How serious was the impact of the First World War on Germany? Was Germany on the brink of revolution? We look at Germany in the days following the end of WW1, the establishment of the Weimar Republic and the early problems it faced: Communist revolts; Kapp Putsch, Munich Putsch; invasion of the Ruhr; hyperinflation. Through out this podcast a key concept to keep in mind is demobilisation.
