We consider the importance of the crucifixion, resurrection and ascension of Jesus for Christians today; In doing so we will look at the last days of Jesus’ life especially with reference to Luke 22 – 24, and the significance of Biblical accounts for understanding Jesus’ life. We also examine common and divergent views about the importance of these in different denominations.
