Emma is a Wellcome Trust funded PhD student researching the history of freak shows at British seaside resorts in the twentieth century. More broadly, she is interested in the history of medicine, disability, and British culture. Alongside her research, Emma works in a number of local schools, delivering history taster sessions and supporting students completing their Extended Project Qualification. In her spare time, Emma enjoys watching Gilmore Girls and playing card games.
