I have been an English teacher in West London for nearly 4 years working in an all girls school, and currently in a large mixed C of E comprehensive in West London. In both schools I worked with sixth form teaching English Literature across different exam boards- both coursework and exam. I have a masters degree in English and Education with a particular focus on the teaching of Shakespeare in different settings. I have published some of my work in English, Language and Literacy 3 to 19- a look at the teaching of reading in primary and secondary schools in the UK. I have also taught workshops and helped develop resources at the National Theatre on Frankenstein and adaptation and in their archives on Othello.
