Why did Germans keep on fighting? Why did many continue to support Hitler? Was it the fear of defeat and it's consequences that kept the Germans fighting? Or did they expect the imminent arrival of miracle weapons to save them? Or perhaps it was the belief that nothing was beyond the Furher, the so called Hitler Myth We look at all of these and the strength of opposition and resistance towards the end and the immediate consequences of the Second World War for Germany.
