In this podcast we will be discussing ways of reducing addiction, including drug therapy, the behavioural interventions of aversion therapy and covert sensitisation, as well as cognitive behavioural therapy. We’ll also look at applying theory to reducing addiction; namely the Theory of Planned Behaviour and Prochaska’s six-stage model of behaviour change.
